With leadership experience that spans diverse aspects of corporate planning and execution, Harold M. Buckner, Jr., most recently served Transamerica as President of the COLI BOLI business. A Texas A&M University graduate, Harold M. Buckner, Jr., supports the school's athletic endeavors, including those of the football team.
Ending with a 33-28 loss against the Kansas State Wildcats in the Texas Bowl, the Texas A&M Aggies football team had a challenging 2016 season. Veteran members of the team Speedy Noil and Ricky Seals-Jones had inspiring moments, but never broke through in the way many expected in light of their stellar high school achievements.
Speedy was a highly rated recruit out of Louisiana who caught five touchdowns as part of 46 total receptions his freshman year. However, for the remainder of his career he had his ups and downs both on and off the field, attaining only nine touchdowns and 88 total receptions.
Ricky Seals-Jones was a consensus five-star recruit from Sealy High School in Texas. Ricky burst on the scene with a 71 yard touchdown catch in his first collegiate game. Unfortunately, he was also injured on that same play. Despite battling injuries, Ricky was a key contributor to the receiving corps at Texas A&M throughout his career.
Both Speedy and Ricky have declared for the 2017 NFL draft. With the Aggies also set to say goodbye to wide receivers Edward Pope, Josh Reynolds, and Jeremy Tabuyo, the team will feature a fresh look in 2017 to offer to fans who eagerly anticipate the emergence of new offensive talent.
